About
Great Paxton Booze and Brushes came about as a combination of a love of art and a want to make it more accessible.

My Story
I'm a qualified teacher, and working with vulnerable adults and children has taught me that art really can be for everyone. I mainly paint for friends when I'm not teaching or Booze and Brushing. Here are a few of my favourites.

One of my wonderful painters sent me a photo of her girls on the beach. I absolutely loved painting this. Her little pink shoe showing through her netty fairy dress is so beautiful combined with the flower blowing in the sea breeze.
This came from a photo posted online of a friend in the Lake District. The whole thing was just a painting waiting to happen.

A birthday present painted at the request of a lovely husband to his wife. It was a surprise gift with all of their special dogs, past and present. I particularly enjoyed the cheeky one hiding in the bushes on their walk up the Great Paxton track.
